BEFORE YOU COME

  • FOR FOOD:

    • Provide proper amount of food to last your pups entire stay, everything else will be provided. **Factor in more per serving to account extra activity.

    • Use LARGE DISPOSABLE BAGS ONLY for dry foods and LABEL feeding instructions and serving size (ex. 1 cup AM/PM). *DO NOT BRING TUPPERWARE.

    • If your dog eats fresh food, please do not send fully frozen food.  Please make sure we have at least 3 servings of thawed out food ready for serving.

    • Please do not pack ANY personal items like beds, toys, bowls, blankets, etc. All will be provided by Ultimutt Pup Academy.

    *Please do not make any sudden changes to your dog’s diet prior to their stay as this could cause stomach issues. Changes should be made no less than 3 weeks prior.

    NAME TAG + COLLAR:

    • Your dog must be fitted with a proper fitting, undamaged collar with a name tag. 

    GROOMING STATUS:

    • ONLY bring pup in good grooming status, bathed, free of any matts, fleas and on flea prevention.

    • Any pups in need of grooming will be charged an addition $150 due on date pup is groomed along with a travel fee of $50.

    • To avoid matting, we recommend shorter hair cuts for dogs with curly or long coats. Deshedding treatments highly recommended for pups that are prone to shedding. 

    TEMPERAMENT + BEHAVIOR:

    • Your dog must be good with other dogs and not aggressive.

    • No refunds will be given if your dog needs to be sent home due to undisclosed aggression or undisclosed illness (including fleas) that could be dangerous or contagious to other pups.  

    SAFETY:

    • For the safety of all the pups, please reschedule if your dog is coughing, sneezing, having loose stool or showing any other signs of illness or currently on medication for an illness

    NEUTER/SPAY:

    • For dogs older than 6 months during their stay, males MUST be neutered. If your female  pup isn’t fixed, please reschedule if she is in heat or within 2 months of her last cycle.
